Idea

Tell me if this is weird. well, i know its weird, so don't. nevermind.

nosePod.

its like an ipod for your nose. you can download smells from the nosePod website and you just walk around and for example if you're in someone's house and there is mildew or pets or stinky fish or something, you just stick on the nosePod and set it to grassy knoll! and yes, it is invisible, you don't have a gigantic thing just sittin on your nose, that would be weird.

i think i'd have "fresh dirt" cause it smells grreat, "clean laundry", "wet freshly mowed grass" "my favorite soap" (papaya... its from kroger and its really cheap and it smells really good) and "orchard" ... what about you?

I like Lever 2000, fresh buttery toast, and various book scents. What if you could sabotage someone's nosePod and change the scents to unpleasant odors?...

In my mind, such an invention, not simply featuring the familiar innovative characteristics of convenient accessibility which the nosePod would appear to own, although possessing that immediately attractive quality, cannot help but assume that pathetic lack of essence (pardon the pun) inherent in such simulatory phenomenons, such as microwave dinners, seabed screensavers and video game consoles, so definitive, in many ways, of the latter 20th century.

i think if i could sabotage someones nosePod i would set it to...

stinky socks

old, unwashed stuffed animal

fishmonger/butcher's store

burnt rubber

there are just so many... what an interesting idea!

yes i think it would lack something in the manner of depth of smell. i mean if you think about the way the smell-buds (umm... thats not the right phrase. you have taste-buds, but smell-...?) work, its definately illogical, but i never said i was going for logical! hehe seabed screensavers...hehe
