Idea
Tell me if this is weird. well, i know its weird, so don't. nevermind.
nosePod.
its like an ipod for your nose. you can download smells from the nosePod website and you just walk around and for example if you're in someone's house and there is mildew or pets or stinky fish or something, you just stick on the nosePod and set it to grassy knoll! and yes, it is invisible, you don't have a gigantic thing just sittin on your nose, that would be weird.
i think i'd have "fresh dirt" cause it smells grreat, "clean laundry", "wet freshly mowed grass" "my favorite soap" (papaya... its from kroger and its really cheap and it smells really good) and "orchard" ... what about you?

a welcome addition
and now to introduce a new and welcome addition to my foresty family.
he arrived by post a few days ago.

Percival "Percy" Eugene Worthington, II.
he hopes you will be his friend.
according to Percy, he was named after Sir Percival, one of the knights of the round table. (his legend tells that he was raised in the forest, unconscious of the existence of any humans other than himself and his mother, until one day King Arthur and his knights rode by and young Percival knew that he was destined to find the grail.) Percy has lots of friends, and he loves to garden. He is especially fond of his linum rubrum.
I decided to take some pictures of Percival and Cecil. it seemed like a good thing to do, so we went a'walking. They walked in the garden...
swung (swang? swanged? swong?) on the swing...
...and a good time was had by all.

silly old gordon fell in a ditch!
the other night i sat in my room, in my regular clothes, doing homework for hours... with a green polka dot showercap on my head.
and i wasn't even planning on showering later! i'm really not sure why i put it on to begin with. the thing is, i knew it was there, it wasn't like i just forgot i had it on... i just forgot that it wasn't normal to wear a showercap whilst studying.

dear overzealous friends,
one of these days you may feel tempted while out running to push a little harder, go a few extra miles, go up a few extra hills - well, ok, you may be tempted to push a lot harder. my advice is to take out that temptation and drown it, then burn it, then gather up the remaining ashes and burn them. and then put them in snack-sized ziplock bags, put your snack bags in a treasure chest which is chained to an anvil, and drop it into the middle of the most unknown ocean you can find. after this you may even want to gather up every map which could lead someone to that ocean and shred them. and then destroy google maps. you get the general idea. from whence springs this knowledge of mine? yesterday i decided i would run twice as far as i usually do, and today my legs hurt so much that concentration on anything but the strange sensation that my muscles have a mind of their own, and that mind is bent on my destruction is impossible. even the slightest motion is oowwww! yeoowww.
so heed my advice, fair innocent overzealous friends. and as to my prescribed methods for destroying that temptation, be creative. if you have alternate ideas for how to destroy it, please do tell me. you never know, your comment could save legs all over the world.
