look at these rather delightful trees!
they gave me some great ideas for my next picture book. or should i say the one after next, because whenever i try to sit down and sketch for this one the drawings turn into something completely different. i've finally decided to just go with what they're turning into and hold off on my current plans until later.

i've looked up spanish moss now, and that certainly looks like spanish moss.
